2012: A Flash Back.

Cheers for 2013!! yey!

Since I haven't blogged here for a very long time, I decided to take a look back on the highlights and wonderful experiences that I had last year, 2012. I had ups & downs, bittersweet life, happy & sad moments, and a whole lot more!

Here's my 2012 summarized ♥

Every year, it's a must to travel. Ever since I tried going out of town or out of the country, I got addicted to it and made me want to explore more. So for the year 2012, I got to see four destination places; Clark Pampanga, Lucban Quezone, Boracay Island and Baguio City.

(1) 02.12.2012. Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga.
Me & Nemo celebrated Valentines ♥ day at The 17th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2012, A Weekend Of Everything That Flies! We had an adventurous and unforgettable date together with the cool and huge hot air balloons.

(2-3)  04.07.2012. Lucban, Quezon.
It's my 2nd time at Kamay Ni Hesus (Hill Of The Resurrected Christ). The famous grotto at Lucban Quezon. It was good to be back! Noah's Ark was newly built, an addition to their tourist spot.

(4-6) 05.27-29.2012. Boracay Island.

The awesome Boracay Island. FINALLY! I was able to visit and hugged the solemnity of the place. It was very relaxing and away from all stressful events in manila. I felt rejuvenated with our out-of-town trip with Nemo & my family. In addition to that, wearing a two-piece suit -- was something I pulled out from my bucket-list!

(7-9) 11.02-03.2012. Baguio City, Philippines.

Another 2nd time! This time with Nemo too! There were so many changes since the last time I saw Baguio. The travel was tiring, but I enjoyed every minute of it.

Forever Zero. My Friends.

They have been with me for the whole year of 2012. It has been a very productive year for us and we almost celebrated every event sharing our most common interests with one another; Pump It Up, Gaming, Cosplay and a lot more!

Level Up Live 2012, Star City, Pump It Up International Fest 2012, Christmas Party. Those were some of our highlighted activities last year. It was awesome and fun too! I really had a great time with them, no boring parts!! I love my family, my circle of friends.

"We eat together, We play together, We win together!"

To my FZ friends, what I want to say to you guys is that, I am looking forward for everyone's success. As a pioneer, I am happy that almost all of us are more focused on our studies and on our work. I pray that we will be able to follow our dreams and make it happen. Work/Study hard, PLAY HARDER!

I'm addicted and I just can't get enough! ♥

We're on our 4th year and everything between us are flowing smoothly. I am very happy that I finally met someone who will always be there for me, for "us", through thick and thin. I don't want to expect anything but I just want to make the most of everything to make our relationship work, not only to make it last, but to make it as bright and as colorful as we can.

Last year, it seems like we've been together 24/7, and yes, there's always a doubt in me - na baka mag-sawa siya sa akin anytime. I always tell him how much I love him everyday; personally or on chat (para makonsensya siya haha. joke.) Just to make him realize that I really want to make him feel that he is loved. Going back, we have been together, exploring the world. Usually we go out-of-town with my family. Most of it, we save and splurge ourselves on our own.

On the other side of it, I love it when I'm seeing Nemo with my family, it's like he's part of our family now. An early husband-to-be in the making. It's making my heart melt and of course, happy that we are both legal with our parents (on both sides).

Speaking of parents, 2012 was the year when I was introduced formally to his dad, and had dinner with his whole family. It was a shivering night at McDonald's after Nemo's graduation ceremony at Antipolo.

On Pump It Up & Cosplay ♥

Yes, I'm a late bloomer. And I started to become a cosplayer late college days. Same as I started dancing Pump It Up when I was a college sophomore in CEU. I remember those days when I was influenced by my friends to do experience a costly hobby, which is, based on my experience - addicting!

So for my SILVER YEAR, I celebrated my birthday last 2012, by hosting a Pump It Up tournament called Pump It Up October Fest 2012. In collaboration with my fellow October birthday celebrants Jepii, Mark, Charles & Maku, and our friend who also joined us - Cheyenne. We sponsored the hosted event with the help of World Of Fun and Andamiro for the prizes and stuffs.

To make the story short, I was able to make my silver year worth-it. I had lunch with my family and had the event and dinner with my friends. It was my very first hosted event and I just want to celebrate also, aside from my birthday, my 5 years as a Pump It Up Female Speed Player. Awesome right?! Another part of the bucket list! ♥

In addition to my birthday celebration, I had a MIND-BLOWING celebration date with Nemo at The Mind Museum. It was my first time having a scientific date with him. Silver year it is! Thanks Nemo ♥

Cheers to my very FIRST TALENT FEE!
I was paid to perform my Pump It Up winning piece last 2009 Fun Pamilya Festival Year 2. It was World Of Fun's 25th Anniversary. All winners from previous contests was invited to perform. I received cash, gift certificates and a Woffy plush! Plus free McDonald's Lunch and a Jollibee spaghetti snack! I felt like I was famous for a day! Thanks World Of Fun!

I know.. 2012 was the YEAR OF THE GANGNAM... So here's a surprise birthday treat to my one and only, Nemo!

Tadaaaaah!!! Edited some photos of Nemo and made a collage letter for his birthday, added a Street Fighter X Tekken PC game, which I SUPER KNOW that he's going to LOVE IT MORE THAN HE LOVES ME! NOT. hahaha :P Going back, It was a very successful surprise despite our 24/7 togetherness! I'm good at sneaking out you know! LOL.

Gave him LOVE PILLS too! I made it myself. haha ♥

Going back... Aside from Pump It Up, 2012 welcomes me for a comeback. After how many years, I went back cosplaying. This time, I was Evergreen from the anime Fairy Tail. I stopped cosplaying way back when I was graduating college, that's 2009 if I'm not mistaken.

This kind of hobby is very costly and that time, I'm trying to manage a budget for my needs and wants. So I always say NO to cosplay every now and then. Until such time, my friends was so eager to push the Fairy Tail group cosplay. So, definitely -- I WAS FORCED TO DO SO! hahaha... Went through planning stage, until I had second thoughts, until I backed-out and there -- I became Evergreen! hahaha! Nemo cosplayed too, he was Mystogan.

What makes this cosplay event more special? That's when I saw my college classmate friend, Mark Canada, cosplaying as Laxus Dreyar, wherein Laxus and Evergreen is on the same tribe in the anime Fairy Tail! Small world! I was able to chat with him even for a short period of time. Cool mini-reunion for us!

The Then and the NOW ♥
How about going back to the old times, shall we?

Kawaiiii Hello Kitty!!
It was 3 years ago when I hugged Hello Kitty in person! That's why I am very glad to hear that she's coming back in the Philippines for another meet & greet event at SM North Edsa. I was such a kid that time! So much Hello Kitty-ness inside me.

How about seeing Vice Ganda the 2nd time around?! It was another unkabogable night with Vice Ganda in his talk show Gandang Gabi Vice. Wherein I saw Ms. Universe 1st runner-up Ms. Janine Tugonon and Fernando Po Jr.'s daughter - Ms. Grace Po. The taping is boring, I admit. But during the discussion, it was a jaw-breaking experience laughing with Vice Ganda and his guests. I wasn't able to have a photo with him, but I was able to have a screen shot from the teaser of the show! hahahaha.. photobomb! :P

Going back....

Talking about work. Yes, I'm a Marketing Assistant at Computer Avenue Trading for 3 years.  I'm working for my aunt so that I can help her around with her business. Eventually, I'm planning to go abroad to explore more opportunities and to try to compare life from both sides. And of course, to help out my mom. If you're going to ask me, I really want to put up my OWN BUSINESS. Something that I worked hard from scratch. I have a lot of plans in my mind, but I still don't know what should I do first. My goal is to make a little difference on what I'm already used to and save money - for real!

Anyhow...

Here's a stress-reliever from work. Had an Army Navy dinner with Ma'am Imee and her husband Tito Orly ♥ It's our first time to go out together as a double date ♥ I can really say that it was MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! :)
